Product Introduction

The DM-A3-CD05 fireproof module is a new type of fireproof sealing product developed and researched by our company based on the national standard GB23864-2009 (Fireproof Sealing Materials), on the basis of the advantages of other fireproof sealing products, and in combination with the actual situation on site and construction and installation experience. It has the following characteristics:

1. Long fire resistance time: Tested by the National Fireproof Building Materials Supervision and Inspection Center, the fire resistance time is over 180 minutes. According to the laboratory tests of our enterprise, the actual fire resistance time is over 280 minutes.

2. Long validity period: Due to the use of inorganic expansion materials and Shaoxing high-efficiency adhesive linking materials, the validity period has been proven by accelerated aging tests to be over 15 years, and the validity period of fireproof modules is generally three years.

3. Good water resistance: Tests have shown that after being soaked in water for one year, the product does not swell, deform or collapse, making it suitable for use in cable trenches with water.

4. High mechanical strength: It is elastic. Due to the use of inorganic materials for bonding and molding curing, the measured compressive strength is 0.8Mpa, which is 16 times that of the fireproof package (0.05Mpa). It contains a small amount of high bonding materials and is elastic, which is conducive to protecting the cable and subsequent disassembly and modification. This is an important feature that distinguishes this product from traditional inorganic fireproof materials.

5. Easy construction: Due to the use of a small amount of adhesive material and the unique concave and convex self-locking shape, the mechanical strength of the sealed wall surface is high and it is not easy to collapse. It is particularly suitable for sealing large holes such as standard cable trenches. Due to its good plasticity, it is convenient to cut and drill holes according to the conditions of the holes and cables, which is more solid and reliable than the sealing with fireproof blocks.

6. Light weight: The measured dry density is 0.5t/m³, while the national standard requires it not to exceed 2.0t/m³. The weight is less than one-third of the national standard, which can significantly reduce the load of the sealing material on the cable tray and buildings.

7. Green and environmentally friendly: It adopts inorganic expansion fireproof materials, which are non-toxic and odorless after expansion when heated.

8. Anti-rat bite: A special and environmentally friendly substance is added to the product's ingredients, giving it a distinctive smell to prevent small animals and rats from gnawing.

Application Scope

The DM-A3-CD05 type fireproof module is mainly applied to the fireproof sealing of wires, cables and electrical appliances in places such as cable trenches, cable trays, cable horizontal shafts, cable vertical shafts, cable wall holes and distribution cabinet chassis in the metallurgy, power, communication, petrochemical, industrial and civil building industries.

Construction Method

Clean up all the debris inside the holes that need to be sealed. Layer and level the cables inside the holes. Take out the fireproof modules and stack them in the form of bricks from one side of the holes. When encountering cables, use a special tool to cut one side of the fireproof module into the shape of the cable. Then, tightly lock the cable and the fireproof module together. The gap between the cable and the fireproof module can be sealed with sealant and flexible organic blocking material. After stacking, it is advisable to ensure that the opposite side is not exposed to light.

The valid storage period of the product is one year.
