Product introduction
The fire resistance time of indoor intumescent fireproof coating for steel structures (water-based type) is generally divided into four grades: 1 hour, 1.5 hours, 2 hours, and 2.5 hours. It is generally applicable to purlins, steel beams and other parts in steel structure workshops. This type of coating rapidly expands and foams when exposed to fire, forming a dense and uniform fireproof and heat-insulating layer, thereby achieving the function of protecting the substrate. Meanwhile, this coating has excellent physical and chemical properties, featuring fast drying, moisture resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and a long fire resistance time.
Scope of application
This product can be widely used in industrial steel structure workshops, chemical plants, large ships, sports venues, airport terminals, petrochemical equipment, pipelines,Fire protection for indoor steel structures with high decorative requirements such as high-rise buildings.
Construction technology
1. Before construction, check the integrity of the anti-corrosion coating. Only after the anti-corrosion coating is accepted as qualified can the fireproof coating construction be carried out.
2. Before painting, clean the dust, oil stains, rust spots, welding slag, burrs and other contaminants on the surface of the components thoroughly.
3. The construction environment temperature should be between 5°C and 38°C, the relative humidity should not exceed 85%, and the air should be well-ventilated. When the wind speed is greater than 5m/s,Construction is not advisable on rainy or snowy days or when condensation forms on the surface of components.
4. This coating can be applied by spraying or troweling.
5. Take spraying as an example. After opening the bucket, stir the paint evenly with a mixer. If it is too thick, add an appropriate amount of water to dilute it (as long as no sagging occurs during construction)This coating is applied in layers. It should be sprayed under an air pressure of 0.4-0.6Mpa. The thickness of the first spray should be less than 1mm. The next coat can be applied only after it is completely dry (when the hand can no longer be held). The thickness of each coat should not exceed 2mm to prevent sagging, cracking and other phenomena, until the required thickness is reached.
6. The coating after application should be complete, without any missed areas, with a uniform surface and consistent color. There should be no sagging, peeling or cracking.
