Product Introduction
Cable fireproof coating is a solvent-based intumescent fireproof coating. This coating is formulated with a brand-new process, using modified acrylic resin as the base material and adding various flame retardants, additives, pigments, etc. The feature of this coating is that it forms a uniform and dense sponge-like foam layer when exposed to fire, which has a remarkable fireproof and heat insulation effect. It also has good water resistance, moisture resistance, oil resistance and weather resistance. It is not only fireproof and flame-retardant, but also has a high decorative effect.

Construction Method
1. Before applying fireproof coating, the surface dust, oil stains, debris and other substances on the cable should be cleaned and ground clean. After the surface is dry, the fireproof coating can be applied.
2. This product can be applied by spraying, brushing, etc. Before use, it should be thoroughly stirred evenly. When the coating is slightly thick, it can be diluted with a thinner to facilitate spraying.
During the construction process and before the coating is dry, it should be protected from water, direct sunlight, pollution, movement and bending. Any damage should be repaired in time.
4. For wires and cables with plastic or rubber shears, it is generally necessary to apply the coating more than five times, with a coating thickness of 0.51mm and an approximately 1.5kg/m2 usage. For insulated cables packaged with oil paper, a layer of glass fiber cloth should be wrapped first, and then the coating can be applied. If the construction is carried out outdoors or in a humid environment, a matching topcoat clear varnish should be added.
Precautions
1. Smoking and open flames must be strictly prohibited at the construction site, and all sources of fire must be eliminated.
2. Coatings should be stored in a cool and dry warehouse.
3. After opening the bucket, if the paint is not used up, it should be sealed properly to prevent skinning or curing.
4. This coating should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated and dry room, isolated from fire sources.
5. The transportation is the same as that of ordinary solvent-based coatings.
6. The valid storage period of the product is 6 months.
