Product Introduction

The CDDT-B type cable fireproof coating is a new type of fireproof coating successfully developed by our company in accordance with the national standard GB28374-2012. This product is currently one of the more advanced water-based fireproof coatings specifically for wires and cables in China. When exposed to fire, the coating of this product can form a uniform and dense sponge-like foam insulation layer, which can effectively suppress and block the spread and expansion of flames, providing protection for wires and cables. Its main advantages are: environmentally friendly, pollution-free, non-toxic, odorless, and posing no threat to the health of the applicators. This product also features a thin coating, strong adhesion, good flexibility, and has excellent insulation and anti-corrosion functions.

Application scope

This product is widely used for flame retardant treatment of wires and cables in power plants, industrial and mining enterprises, telecommunications and civil buildings. It can also be used for fire protection of combustible substrates in wood structures, metal structures and underground projects.

Construction Method

1. Before applying fireproof coating, the surface dust, oil stains, debris and other substances on the cable should be cleaned and ground clean. After the surface is dry, the fireproof coating can be applied.

2. This product can be applied by spraying, brushing, etc. Before use, it should be thoroughly stirred evenly. If the coating is slightly thick, it can be diluted with an appropriate amount of tap water to facilitate spraying.

During the construction process and before the coating is dry, it should be protected from water, direct sunlight, pollution, movement and bending. Any damage should be repaired in time.

4. For wires and cables with plastic or rubber sheaths, it is generally recommended to apply the coating more than five times, with a thickness of 0.5 to 1mm and an approximate usage of 1.5kg/m2. For insulated cables packaged with oil paper, a layer of glass fiber cloth should be wrapped first before applying the coating. If the construction is carried out outdoors or in a humid environment, a matching topcoat clear varnish should be added.

Precautions

1. The product should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated environment.

2. During transportation of the product, it should be protected from direct sunlight and rain, and the packaging drums should be prevented from being damaged, toppled over or overflowing.

The valid storage period of this product is 6 months.
