Product introduction

Outdoor non-expansion type steel structure fireproof coating (special type) is used for fire protection of the steel structure surface of special buildings such as petrochemical facilities and substations. In the type test of special steel structure fireproof coating, hydrocarbon (HC) fire temperature rise test conditions are adopted. The fire resistance and heat insulation performance requirements for fireproof coating layers are very high. The outdoor non-expanding type fireproof coating for steel structures (special type) has a low thermal conductivity, good fire resistance, strong oxidation resistance and powdering ability. When exposed to fire, the coating forms a high-density glaze layer, which not only insulates heat but also resizes further oxidation, making its fire resistance limit exceed 3.0 hours.

 

Scope of application

Outdoor non-expanding fireproof coating for steel structures (Special type) is suitable for fire protection projects of special outdoor load-bearing steel structure buildings, such as chemical equipment, substations, distribution stations, thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, and other outdoor steel structure buildings in petrochemical, metallurgy, power plants, etc.

 

Construction technology

After the first spray of adhesive, powder and water is mixed in proportion, stir it with a mixer for 5 to 10 minutes until it is evenly mixed before spraying. The thickness of the spray should be less than 2mm. After spraying, it needs to be completely dried for 2 to 3 days before the next spray can be carried out.

After the second coat of spray, mix the glue, powder and water in proportion, and stir with a mixer for 5 to 10 minutes until evenly mixed, then spray. The thickness of the spray is preferably 6 to 8mm. The next coat of spray can only be carried out after it has dried for 48 hours.

After the third coat of spray, mix the adhesive, powder and water in proportion, and stir with a mixer for 5 to 10 minutes until evenly mixed, then spray. The thickness of the spray is preferably 6 to 8mm. The next coat of spray can only be carried out after it has dried for 48 hours.

After the fourth coat of spray, mix the glue, powder and water in proportion, and stir with a mixer for 5 to 10 minutes until evenly distributed, then spray until the corresponding thickness is achieved.

Note: The amount of water added can be adjusted according to conditions such as humidity and temperature.

Moisture and heat resistance After the 504-hour test, there were no phenomena such as cracking, foaming or peeling of the coating, and the attenuation of heat insulation efficiency was 16%.
Resistance to salt spray corrosion After 30 tests, there were no phenomena such as blistering, obvious deterioration or softening of the coating, and the attenuation of heat insulation efficiency was 11%.
Resistance to ultraviolet radiation After 60 tests, the coating showed no cracking, powdering or other phenomena, and the heat insulation efficiency decline was 22%.
