Fireproof dike fireproof coating is a new type of fireproof coating developed by our company in accordance with the GB28375-2012 national standard, with inorganic thermal insulation materials as the main component. And it has the following characteristics:

1. Environmentally friendly products, non-toxic and harmless to the human body and the environment.

2. Strong adhesion, no cracking or peeling.

3. It is convenient to apply and can be applied manually or mechanically by spraying.

4. The coating is thin and has good fire resistance.

5. Good water and moisture resistance.

Scope of application

This product is a special coating mainly used for the surface protection of concrete in fireproof embankments in petrochemical storage tank areas, oil and gas transportation pipelines, ships, docks, Marine facilities and other industries, and it has the effect of fire prevention and flame retardancy.

Construction technology

1. Substrate treatment. The substrate of the protected object should be thoroughly cleaned to keep the surface clean, so as not to affect the adhesion.

2. Base spraying. After being prepared in a certain proportion and stirred evenly, the base material is formed. It is sprayed with a large-diameter special spray gun, with a coating amount of approximately 0.3-0.4kg/m ². The first layer should not be too thick to maintain a rough surface effect, which is beneficial for the combination of the second layer.

3. After the primer has dried (5 to 8 hours in high-temperature and dry weather, usually more than 1 day), the second and third layers can be applied. Each layer should be approximately 5 to 8 millimeters thick, with a maximum thickness not exceeding 10 millimeters. Finally, smooth them out with a trowel. The dosage is calculated based on a thickness of 10mm, and the consumption is approximately 7 kg/m.

4. The interval between coating applications should be controlled at 12 to 24 hours (at 20°C), neither too long nor too short. Appropriate adjustments can be made based on climatic conditions. The wet materials that have been mixed with water should be used up within 1 hour. The suitable construction environment temperature is 25°C and the relative humidity is no more than 90%.

5. If there are other requirements, after the coating is completely dry, apply 1-2 coats of decorative topcoat or other functional coatings.

Transportation and storage
1. The validity period of the paint is half a year. Once the package is opened, it should be used immediately. Paint that has become damp and lumped must not be used. Net weight: 25 kilograms.

2. The consistency of the slurry mixing should be moderate, neither too thick nor too thin, and should be suitable for construction.

3. During the mixing and construction process, the scattered and rebounding slurry can be promptly recycled and reused. Coatings that have been contaminated or have been in use for more than 2 hours cannot be reused.

4. The construction method can be appropriately adjusted according to the designed thickness of the coating and the construction conditions.
